IPANEMA BOSSA JAZZ
Ipanema Bossa Jazz is a musical project that unites tradition and contemporary elements, highlighting the richness of Brazilian music in dialogue with jazz. The aim is to offer the public performances that range from bossa nova classics to creative improvisations and new interpretations. The project seeks to strengthen Rio's cultural scene, bringing together different generations and promoting encounters between established musicians and young talents. More than just a show, Ipanema Bossa Jazz is establishing itself as a space for artistic dissemination and celebration of our musical identity.

EMERGENCE
The brand emerged in 2017, stemming from Fred Rios' desire to bring bossa nova and jazz to more people.
Always featuring professional musicians as guests, the shows, which began at the "Barzin Ipanema" restaurant and have since taken place in various locations around the city, are now held every Sunday on the Arpoador beach boardwalk, next to the Tom Jobim statue, one of the city's most famous tourist attractions, drawing hundreds of new spectators every week.

IBJ in Arpoador
With the mission of rescuing Brazil's greatest intangible heritage, bossa nova, and presenting it in dialogue with jazz, the IBJ brings weekly shows of the highest level every Sunday next to the Tom Jobim statue.
